Black Hills Energy is offering a 50% rebate up to $500.00 for efficiency of R-38 or greater or up to $1000.00 for efficiency of R-49 or greater added. Energy Audit from Black Hills is free & insulation recommendation required for rebate.

Xcel Rebate gas or electric only customers may participate. If a pre-insulation level of R-19 or less is present: Homeowner must bring level to R-38. If a pre-insulation level of R-20 or higher is present; Homeowner must add R-25 to existing insulation levels to qualify for attic rebates.
Walls, attics and Air Sealing, Weatherstripping only may qualify for the home.

    Xcel Energy is offering a similar rebate for natural gas or all electric heating customers. Customers with R-19 or less must improve insulation to R-40 or higher.     Denver's utility now addresses the house as a system.
