Dear Debbie,

Bestway Insulation has become an important part of two important energy efficiency programs that we manage.

The Energy Makeover Contest that we run in partnership with Xcel Energy is entering its fifth year.  It’s a very high visibility event, in which we select two of the most inefficient homes out of thousands of contest entries.  Our sponsors then install the very best energy efficiency equipment and measures, turning the home into a showcase of comfort and reduced energy costs.  The first two years of the program we were not happy with the quality of the insulation work.  In year 3 we invited Bestway to join our effort and we’re pleased we did.  Bestway specializes in retrofit insulation work and knows how to fill every cavity to achieve the best results.  In year 4 the City of Boulder helped fund the contest.  Bestway stayed on as a sponsor and ended up insulating the winning home in Boulder.  I’ve been so happy with Bestway’s work I even hired you to insulate my own house.

As the Executive Director of E-Star Colorado I manage Colorado’s Home Performance with ENERGY STAR (HPwES) Program.  This past year we offered an intensive two-week training program.  Bestway Insulation participated in the training and was part of a tremendously experienced group of contractors.  But even in a group of this caliber Bestway stood out for the knowledge and expertise they bring to insulating a home.

I look forward to continuing to work with Bestway on these two programs and on other activities in the years ahead.
